Website Care Plan

Anyone can sign up for my website care plan, even if I didn’t design yours.

If I:

• Didn’t design your website
• Or I did, but it was more than 2 to 3 months ago

Care plan pricing is per site — and a subdomain (like shop.yoursite.com or members.yoursite.com) counts as a separate site if it runs its own WordPress install.

It might live under your main domain, but maintenance-wise it’s a whole other beast with its own plugins, settings, and potential chaos. So yep — it needs its own plan too.

If it’s something super basic or low-maintenance, I’ll take a look and can quote accordingly. But anything with its own setup gets its own support.

No stress — I’ll take a look at your site and recommend the plan that best fits what’s going on behind the scenes. You won’t be left guessing (or accidentally under-covered).

That’s exactly what your care plan is for. Things like plugin conflicts, dodgy updates, or weird bugs are all covered — I’ll get them sorted as part of your regular support time.

If the same issue keeps coming back or the site needs a lot of hands-on fixes, I’ll flag it. Sometimes it means there’s a deeper problem under the surface that needs proper digging into. I’ll always check in with you first before doing anything extra — and we’ll figure out the best way to fix it properly.

Absolutely. If anything pops up that’s outside what your current plan covers — like a big layout change, a deeper investigation, or something that’s not a quick fix — I’ll always flag it first and send a quote. No surprise invoices. Ever.

Ongoing support, updates, and small fixes are all part of the deal. What’s not included are full redesigns, new feature builds, or anything that falls into “bigger project” territory. That kind of work is quoted separately.

Fear not! If you’re signed up to a WordPress Care Plan, then you get a discount on any extra work that needs doing.

Sadly, no. It’s a set allocated time every month. If I were to rollover hours, it would become difficult for me to manage my time effectively, and I would more than likely have a self-induced drama queen mini meltdown.

Absolutely. If your needs change — up or down — we’ll adjust your plan to make sure it still fits.

If your site suddenly adds a shop, booking system, or starts getting loads more traffic, I’ll check in to make sure your plan and hosting setup still fit. It’s all about keeping things running properly, not squeezing a high-maintenance site into the wrong plan.

Hosting is optional — some clients already have hosting they’re happy with, and that’s totally fine. If you’d rather I take care of it, I offer fast, secure WordPress hosting and can include it as part of your care plan at no extra cost for standard websites.

If your site’s particularly large, gets a lot of traffic, or has features that need more server resources (like a shop, booking system, or membership area), I’ll review the setup and let you know if we need to look at a custom hosting option — just to make sure your site runs properly without slowing anything else down.
