The contract is signed, deposit paid, and all your content is ready (it really helps to have your content ready otherwise this could slow down the project). But now what? I do my nerdy magic thing of course and make you a bloody fantastic website. But not without you!
If you haven’t already done so I will ask you to fill out a Website Design Questionnaire. This helps us narrow down the direction you want to go in and reduces the need for revisions further down the line. I’ll also bug you for your content at this stage before we can move on with the project.
“OK, I’VE DONE THAT”
Great! I put on my witchy magic hat (that’s where all the best ideas live) and dive into building your website. While things might seem quiet for a little bit, rest assured, magic is happening behind the scenes.
When the first draft of your website is ready, I’ll send you a video walkthrough. This is your first look at all the nerdy magic in action – every page, every feature, all styled exactly how we planned. Watch, pause, and tell me which parts you love and which parts could use a tweak. Your feedback shapes the next step before we move forward.
“SO FAR SO GOOD!”
I’ll apply your feedback and make the tweaks needed. You’ll stay in the loop and see the progress as we finalize everything.
“I LOVE THE NEW WEBSITE!”
Finally, I test your site across devices, browsers, and screen sizes to make sure it looks brilliant everywhere. Once any final tweaks are made, and your balance is settled, we go live – usually on a Tuesday, because magic.
That’s it – your nerdy-magic-powered website, fully complete and ready for the world. Sit back, sip some tea, and enjoy it.
“IS THAT REALLY IT?”
No, it isn’t! You will receive training documents on how to find your way around the backend of your website so you can easily update it yourself in the future. I can also jump on a Zoom call and go through it with you. If you feel like you would benefit from a Zoom session, then just let me know and I’ll make it happen.
And that’s not all! All my website builds come with one month’s FREE support afterwards. Should you find yourself stuck on anything, I’m right there with my nerdy magic to help you out. During that month, I will monitor your website for performance/speed etc and keep any plugins updated for you. I also offer a WordPress Care Plan, so if you struggle with keeping your new site updated and secure once the month is up, you can let me take care of that for you, leaving you to concentrate on your business.
